creme brulee french toast

today was gloriously unproductive and lazy. i woke up late and made the most delicious french toast evvvvar.

check out how to do the creme brulee french toast (sorta based on this recipe)

Ingredients:
3 egg yolks
1/3 brown sugar
1/3 cup of heavy cream
4-5 pieces of french bread




How to:
1. mix egg yolks, brown suga, and cream
2. slice french bread & dip into egg mixture
3. cook on med/low in greased skillet for 2 minutes or until brown
4. sprinkle with powdered sugar and a spoonful of jam

hint: to separate yolks/whites, crack the egg by hitting once against the bowl, then hold the egg in your hand and shake over a bowl until the whites come out, but the yolk is still inside.

hinthint: the original recipe wanted to bake the toast for 45 minutues, but the first time i made this, i was too hungry to wait. i think pan frying is just as good and much quicker.
